You know how much I love this vignette. It is so sad, but so beautiful. You express their emotions so eloquently.

Beautifully sad and poignant what if, with great characterization. I loved every word - though I'm very happy it didn't happen this way in profic. :p Congratulations on the archival. :)

Although the first-person-dying-narrator always ruffles my fur the wrong way, this didn't fall into the automatic trap which lies in wait for those who try to play with this format, for which I am reasonably impressed. I liked the way you conveyed the dark side (with creeping tendrils!) which seemed both very appropriate and in keeping with the characters and the mirroring which GL is so very fond of, but also had a slant which made it something more than the obvious. I can't quite put my finger on it, but it was enjoyable, and your language when talking about the dark precipice was... fear/emotion inducing.

Thank you.

A very sweet little vignette. I would have liked to see more struggle between Mara and Luke to keep Luke on the "Light" side, but the emotions of the piece struck home. Very well done.

It was so sad, but nice. Their emotions are conveyed very well, good story.
