Star Traveler's Comments:

I found this rather touching. Good to see that Obi-Wan isn't the only Jedi who admits to feeling that parental connection to his Padawan. But, is the GrandMaster any old Master, or just Yoda?

That's really nice. I laughed a bit, I nodded my head, and I understood without knowing how I understood.

A really interesting read.

Amazing. I laughed, and nodded my head along, and I reallly thought about what it said: love and attachment are not the same thing. I guess thats why ANakin fell. He was attached to Padme.

Anyway, gret story.

Very fun story. I like the insight into the relations between the Jedi. How can you be so closely involved with people and not feel those connections? I try and explore those connections a lot in my own fanfics. Very nice work.

Very nice. I enjoyed it and the simplicity of the sentiment immensely. Well done.

Beautifully written, I like the idea of exploring the connections among the Jedi as a family unit. After all, they lived, grew up together, squabbeled, trained and performed missions together

This is very beautiful. I like seeing the Jedi as a family, it makes so much sense.

Yes, yes! I like this a lot. I admit that I don't always feel sure how Lucas meant the Jedi to understand the term... but it does seem to me that the difference between love and possessiveness has been drawn any number of times before. (From "If you love someone, let them go..." to "He who saves his life shall lose it" to that fable about getting your hand stuck in a jar. Sometimes you do have to hold on, and maybe give yourself up for it, but sometimes you can't keep something by being afraid to lose it.) Anyway, I very much enjoyed this view of the Jedi and appreciated seeing it.

Wonderful. I agree completely. The best interpretation of Jedi family dynamics I have read since Dark Rendezvous.
