Wonderful. I liked how you reached back across generations of our best-known Jedi and showed that there is much similarity between them and the lessons that they needed to learn.

Very good...very good. I too enjoyed how you went back into the past to explore the way that each generation had learned the lessons.

I really enjoyed this story - the way you structured it, crossing the generations, was brilliant and very engrossing. Loved it!!

I loved this story! I love all the characters in it...I like seeing Qui Gon and Obi Wan together, so that was cool. And Qui Gon with Dooku before he turns dark is interesting as well. You should make another story with all of these characters. I also liked how you went from present to past, then ended with Anakin--great idea!

Very nice. Reminds me of the Extinction story in Tales #something. The generational connection was nice, although your method did make it impossible to establish contrast.

Great idea, I really enjoyed it. I liked the way you switched generations. It felt like it really flowed from one jedi to another. Keep writing; I want to read more from you!

I enjoyed this immensely. The way that you transitioned back through the training linneage was great. And it was almost foreshadowing the total break with tradition that will come with Luke.

This was really a neat idea. I love how each boy learned a lesson and that they built on each one. Also gave us great insight into the character of each Padawan. Great job.

Great fic! I liked the way you went back through the generations like that, and how each boy made the same mistake at first during each task. Keep writing!

I knew it! I just KNEW that the "Mena" lady waasn't really supposed to watch the gate! I woulda just walked past her. I liked how each Jedi did the same thing and they all saw it happen to their own padawans. Hmmm, I wonder how it worked out for Yoda?...oh yeah, he was their age a "longo time" ago. the plant probably hadn't even grown yet. :) aren't I smart :)

That was a wonderful read! I loved the conversation about Master Aurelius and his title of "Master." Fun to see multiple generations of Jedi, though I felt your strength lay in the Obi-Wan/Anakin segments... the others didn't feel as unique or well-developed as the individuals they are.

But that criticism aside, it was a great idea and well-executed overall.
