You already know what I think about this fic. ;)
But I'll say it again anyway! :) It's very good - a sad portrait of Obi-Wan's thoughts about Anakin's fall. And I especially like the thing with the sunset - that was good.

by the way, I'd like to thank my main beta for this story, obaona. It's improved so much since she's looked it over (quite a few times). :) Thanks!

Very lyrical, well-written, and neatly organized, though at times it just seems like plot summary. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

Jira, as good as the real thing, but condensed.
A novel/screenplay hybrid, a "selling script" style. Keep it up, I'd buy it.

Very well written. I have to add; however, I blame Yoda for Anakin's turn. C'Mon.. he could sense Anakin's dark side when he was a boy. So what does he decide to do? Turn him over to a jedi who just passed the trials and had no experience as a full fledged jedi?
With a midiclorine count off the charts that means only one of two things...either he will be strong with the good side or strong with the darkside. All padawans are tempted by the darkside... it is part of their training. Yoda should have appointed a more seasoned master.

I love your choice of words, e.g. "that sweet, innocent boy" and "this guilt - and grief". They are so appropriate, so striking and so true that they truly wring heartstrings. It's a beautiful touch to the tale.
