*grins happily* I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped get my baby through its long, arduous odyssey to its final destination. I'd like to thank Julie, JadeSaber, Acacia (Kris), and all the others (if I've forgotten anyone, please let me know! :)) who offered both betas and moral support. :p
I also want to thank Obaona for the beautiful cover art. :)
Finally, I'd like to thank all of my readers over at TFN, especially those who took the time to comment on my story. :p

I really enjoyed this. Anakin's inner torment is brilliantly portrayed here from AOTC, and illustrates quite well how he is unable to completely control the immense power he wields.
A fantastic, emotional piece. Bravo.

You're welcome, Destiny. :)
I have to say, the title to this work is truly fitting. I found this story to be slow-paced and thoughtful. As I read the story, I really felt like I was listening in on Anakin's introspection about his actions, and experiencing the slow moving of time with him.
Lovely story. :)

Once again I wanted to say how wonderful this piece is. It's so haunting and poignant. I could feel Anakin's tumultuous emotions-rage, disbelief, shame, and the overwhelming grief. Thank you for writing such an isightful view of a real turning point in his life.

Thank you. :)

Wow! You have perfectly captured Anakin's torment over what he has done to avenge his mother. I like how you also show that deep down he knows this battle for his soul is far from over, and that he may not win.

Kris!!! *tackle hugs* Thanks so much for commenting. :p You of all people know how much my baby's changed since I first sent out the call for betas. I've said before, but thank you for being tough and perceptive; you made a HUGE difference in the way it turned out.
Talk to you soon. ;)

Great job, Destiny! I especially enjoyed how you incorporated Yoda's words from Episode I into your story. I also liked the ending, and how it gave a little foreshadowing of Darth Vader. Keep up the good work!

WOW. This was an incredible story!!!!!! AS my name suggests, I'm an Anakin fan. This was just as good, if not better than the actual Episode II novel when it comes to describing Anakin's thoughts. I loved the way you had Anakin twist Yoda's warning about hate turning to suffering, to mean that Anakin made the Tuskins suffer. I also loved the way Anakin could sense the darkness ahead. It was amazing! Please keep writing!
