While I don't think Mara would ever loose control of herself like that, I do think that was a very good piece of fiction! I really liked the ending when Mara 'let go.' Keep writing!

Amazing...this has to be one of the few good L/M fics on this site. If you ask me, this is better than VOTF as there is more romance in this than Zahn's novel.

While this deosn't seem to be quite in character for Mara, no one seems to know exactly what her character is supposed to act like so it's okay.

In the mean time, Mara is very human in this, which is a good thing. Apart from the characterization issues, (which may or may not be wrong) You've done very well. My only real complaint is that this is way too short.

I adore this. Just love it. And I think the characterization of Mara is fine--she *has* to take a break from constant control every once in a while, right? And usually, it's alone. Also, she was insanely drunk, so that could easily explain any discrepancies.

::sighs:: awwwwwwwwww! Yes, not truly to Mara's character when ... key words here: when she's sober. But drunk, yeah I think that would be perfectly in character for her.

Bravo! Loved it! The romantic proposal that Luke was not able to give. Although, I do have ideas to do an extension of that scene, OR to do an addon to VOTF where Luke does a really romantic proposal that totally shocks Mara. Still working on it though. So far, this is the best L/M fic I've read. VERY good!!

Wow!! I loved this story!

I love fics that portray Mara as an actual human being. I feel that they don't concentrate on that enough in the novels.
