Beautiful cover by the way. I don't think the artists get praised enough round here but great job on the fic as well. If you ever need a beta, I always free... maths homework doesn't exist in my mind, apologies to my teacher, not 'cause he's evil!

This was a really great fanfic. I'm glad that I have time now to read SW fanfic, because I have been so busy. Yours was the first that I read in my fanfic renewal. ;)

Based in the NJO... My favorite era. Jaina... One of my favorite characters. You did an excellent job of interpreting Jaina's loss and taking it out on Zekk. I always wondered what they had said to each other, if anything, on that Vong ship going away from the Worldship and the devastating loss they had received for their heroism.

The line that really got me was, "I've heard that pain is like clay…you can make something beautiful from it, or you can sculpt the darkest creatures… It all depends on the artist." was one of the best analogies I have seen in a very long time. That was brilliant. Wish I had thought of that earlier when I was writing a story before!

The only thing I was disappointed in, and I'm not saying this in a negative way, is the use of the word 'space' as a curse word. I don't really remember the SW characters using it as a swear word, it was usually sithspawn and such. It sounded like you tried to make it coincide with that really bad 4-letter word. Jaina's loss was so greiving, I can see why she would be thinking that, but I don't think that it was really necessary to use that word so much. Also, I don't think that Jaina would have said sithin' eyes towards her dead brother.

Other than that, that's it for the constructive criticism. I hope you didn't take it in a bad negative way. I love people to be honest with me, and I think people would like me to be honest with them.

I would like to thank you for this great work. Because of this, I think I will be reading much more fanfic than I have in the past. This was just excellent, good descriptions in the 1st person perspective, it was just great. I look forward to more of your fanfic.

Given the way we see Jaina in the subsequent books, this is one of the more realistic portrayals of her grief that I've ever seen.

Beautiful piece. I love how you got right inside Zekk's mind and described all his emotions so accurately. And the way you described Jaina's pain and memories of her brother was very effective and powerful. You should post this on the JC boards too.
