Yay, I love this story! I read it before somewhere else (can't remember where) but it is just as good as I remember it being. I especially like the part when Obi-wan is shocked that Qui-gon was awake the whole time, perfect Obi-wan! I like the cover art as well!

That was wonderful, Diane. As always, I love your use of language, and the ending was perfect. The whole thing had me in stitches, and it certainly reminded me of some of the crazy things my kids have done. Great cover art, too. Thanks for making me smile.

Hilarious and well written. I loved it all - both the concept and how you executed it. ;) You got Qui-Gon down as amused mentor perfectly, and I can just picture Obi-Wan, Bant and Garen getting together and doing such a silly thing. It's always nice to read something that is humorous without pushing it, and sweet without being sugary. Great job!

What better compliment than to say that I was chuckling all the way through the story? I think there should be some sort of warning about not reading this story at work -- I think I may have disturbed my colleagues a bit with my efforts not to burst out laughing. :)

Although the premise, in itself, is simple, you manage to sustain the joke for the whole story without it falling flat; given that comedy is one of the most difficult genres to write, this only goes to show how good this story is. The characters, both canonical and original, were fully realised, and I really enjoyed the rich, flowing style (it rather reminded me of PG Wodehouse). If I have one criticism is that there were, very occasionally, some slightly odd phrasings, but they in no way detracted from this very funny tale.

The cover art is really very funny too.

This was a very funny story! I laughed the whole time! I was glad to see that I am not the only one who reads the Jedi Apprentice books. (I have the whole series.) The one suggestion I have is that at one point you call Obi-wan a "red haired boy." I'd say he is more of a blond. But, it was nice to see a funnier side to Qui-Gon. I loved the story!

Great story! I really enjoyed reading this story - It gives up some insights into the escapades of Obi Wan and other jedi padawan kids and some semblance into what live as a padawan in the jedi temple must have been like - Something which is lacking in the movies. Please write more of these stories, I'd like to read some more.

Yeah this comments a bit late.. just thought ide tell you great job on your story. :) I've had that argument with my friends about my dad. Except he really was asleep and it shook the house. Keep it up, I really liked the story about Obi-wan and Siri but I can't remember the name of it. Your excellent on bringing out the youth of the characters.
