You know how much I love this vignette. I love the way you use the same theme to explore Obi-Wan's love and loyalty to first Qui-Gon, then Anakin and finally Anakin's children. This vignette is haunting and beautifully written, and I am glad to see it archived. Excellent job!

Hi Mom. I just wanted to wish you a sincere congratulations on getting this archived. I know you worked really hard and really wanted this. (I should know, I had to hear about it.) You deserve to have this archived, it's beautifully done. And even though you made me read it one day, I am glad I did it. (And I am not saying that for Brownie Points... Unless you want to give me some.)

I have learn to deal with the fact that you are a better writer, even if I do curse you in my head. The boys may scoff at getting something archived but I know how much it means to you. Anyway, congratulations.

I loved this piece! I really liked the way you showed Obi Wan's love for Qui Gon, Anakin, and Luke. I liked how you had Obi Wan feel Luke and Leia inside Padme.:)

Well, it’s Ams this time. Lovely piece, VaderLVR! Congratulations on the archival. I know how hard you work on your ‘fics. I love how you always try to make them the best they can be – case in point. I’m not a huge fan of Obi-Wan fan fic (I’ve read too much of it), but I always make an exception for good fic!

This was fantastic. It was great to see Obi-Wan in the three phases we have seen in film, Padawan, mature adult, and old man.

Reading about he and Qui Gon, I think of Obi Wan seeing him die, powerless to do anything at the moment.

I especially liked the echoing of the line, "The Force will be with you, always." Now in my own "personal Star Wars" I will see him quoting Mace Windu when he says it to Luke, knowing that he very well may die before seeing him again.

I've said it before and I say it again -- I really like writings that explore the thoughts of good characters as they face the trials of their lives. Loved that it followed Obi-wan through the different times of his life. Great Job.

This is beautifuly written. I think this exposed Obi-Wan just the way he is. I really liked the Qui-Gon's part because I have always thought Obi-Wan was willing to die in Qui-Gon's place. I think that they really loved each other. Thanks fo writing!
