I think you captured very eloquently what will make the Purges so terrible! Another lovely and powerful work by an amazing author. Bravo!

Very good! I'm sure this will become even more realistic after we see the entirety of Episode 3. Well done!

Oh dear lord, this nearly had me in tears. What an amazing picture of the horror awaiting the galaxy in RotS. Incredibly written, as usual.

Beautiful. Stunning. It works because it doesn't *try* to be dramatic. It doesn't need to attempt that because it has realism. This a perfect vignette for the lead-up to RoTS.
One of the best concluding lines I have ever read: We really are all victims, here.
Love you and your work!

I don't even like this time period (probably because of all the killings of Jedi) but I knew since you wrote it that I would probably like it. I did. I was nearly crying too and that something I don't normally do. I still think you should become a proffesional writer :) if you ever do email me so I can buy your book. Thanks.

I love your cover! I try not to judge a fic by the cover art but man, yours totally caught my eye! The red ghost image is just so... creepy!
Anyways, the fic was great! I like how you had Lan pee in his pants... such a creative way to show realism. I like how you nonchalantly use the name Hunter, as if it were common language, to totally get us into that environment. Great job!

I'd just like to thank my betas, without whom this story would probably be somewhat confusing (not to mention the typos) - thanks, Amsie and Liana, for your thorough and excellent work. :)

You know I love this story, oba. But I think that its sparseness is what really grants it that feeling of deep sorrow and sadness. You stated things very bluntly in this viggie, so all the emotions just seem raw.
*huggles*
And the cover art fits it very well.

The title is so appropriate. Everything that is conventional and honorable is abandoned in the quest for survival, but it doesn't make it any easier.

Wonderful way of taking the horror down to a personal level and pointing out that all involved are victims. Well done.

Well done, obaona. I've always enjoyed your fanfics -- you have an awesome way of capturing emotions and revealing the intensity of situations. In this fic, you helped your readers see how destructive the Purges were for everyone, not just Jedi. Again, excellent job!

A good peice to be sure. I very much enjoyed this story. It had a choppy quality to it, lots of fragments and quick discripts, it almost became destracting, but it was very good. Keep writing, I'll keep my eye out.

You captured the destruction, confusion and horror of the Purges perfectly and so eloquently, and not just from the perspective of the Jedi, but from the point of view of those charged with hunting them down, as well. The last line was especially fitting. An excellent vignette, as always.

I liked it. It was short, you felt for the characters, it put humanity into both sides of a sad, scary situation. I can imagine just this sort of thing happening in the dark Star Wars universe right after the Emperor takes power. Nicely done.

That was beautiful. It captured the hopelessness of the situation wonderfully, in a truely stomach-twisting manner as my sympathy for the voices made me believe the story and wish it to be different.
This really was an amazing story, and I admire how you handled it.

Very eloquent. Someone said it really captured the horror of the purges and I would have to second that opinion.
I am new to reading SW fan fiction. Some of the fan fiction I have read elsewhere has been dreadful. Had I known fan fiction like this existed, I would have been reading much sooner.
Good job!
