Nice vignette - after 20+ years, it seems that a little bit of Anakin is struggling to break free of Vader. Very haunting.

On an admin note for the archive staff, my browser (Firefox) renders the apostrophes and semicolons in this piece as question marks, which were very distracting as I read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fic. It was well written and complete. A little short though....more could have been done with it....

I like this story very much. How Vader stays away from Naboo, as long as possible. I like the small reference to Vader's breathing. I wish there was a reference to staying away from Tatooine, forever. but that doesn't matter.

How exquisite! I've always loved and understood Anakin (sometimes I feel as though I AM Padme myself and can feel his pain as though it was mine); I am curretnly crying as I soak in short and sweet masterpiece! Cover art in gorgeous, by the way! Simply beautiful!

Oh wow! I just loved how he knew that wasn't where she would have wanted to be. Masterful touch there.
