I love your characterization of little Obi-Wan and little Siri. Siri is so stubborn and has such a strong personality I think you would see that at only 3. As for Obi-Wan, isn't "girls are yucky" such a 5 year old boy thought?

I love this story. You always write children so well--so realistically. They're never too cute, or too smart for their own age. They're just real and endearing. I liked that you showed some of the history between Obi-Wan and Bruck, keeping Obi-Wan the same person despite his young age. And the interactions with Siri were so funny.

Great story Diane! I enjoy reading the fan fics about Obi-wan's childhood, and this is my favorite so far! It was very well written. Also, I really liked the way you portrayed Siri... you wrote her exactly like my three year old cousin Emmeline, which made me laugh, because it was so realistic. :) Again, great job, and thanks for posting the story!

I love it! It helps me imagine what it would be like to be a padawan. And bruck deserved what he got!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A very sweet story that leaves me with a warm feeling afterwards.
