Great story! I think it is excellent how you showed some of the 'behind the scenes' negotiations that went on in order for Obi-wan to become Qui-gon's apprentice. I also liked your characterization of Yoda. You showed both his impish side and his 'head of the order' side quite well.
Congratulations on a great story and a wonderful reading experience!

Loved it! Glad to see people were looking out for Obi. "'Subborn he is but more stubborn am I...'" was probably my favorite line. That'll keep me entertained for days! Happy Holidays!

I assume you all have read the pre ep. I books. This little scene would have played out during the book 'The Rising Force' if I remember correctly. Very interesting idea to write this one. It ties to the book rather nicely though some points were left out. Overall, very nice.

Aww! *chuckles* I like this idea. That it was a setup, and that Yoda made the promise to change his placement if it didn't work. Granted, it did work, but while he could have insisted he was right and it wouldn't be necessary, instead he... insisted he was right but made provision for if he wasn't, even if only to give her peace of mind.

*snickers madly* Oh, I love it. Master Yoda's so manipulative, isn't he?
