Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. I've always been a fan of not using the characters provided by lucas, and I'll admit that when Mason first admitted to being Qui-Gon I rolled my eyes and cursed silently, but I kept reading. It took me a good two hours to complete it (and I'm at work, so I need to do another two hours of programming now damnit :) and I am truly glad to have spent the time going through your literature. Although slightly predictable (If there is a Jedi, there Must be a Sith, etc) the constant attention to detail did wonders to make the reader expect nothing. All in all, a great peice that I am priviledged to have read. Now I just need to find myself a living incarnation of Ishtari and I'm set :)

I enjoyed this tale the first time I read it, too. You created a cast of engaging original characters. The first-person voice was strong and really added to the story.

Absolutley great, the characters were excellent and perfectly in character, and i loved the whole idea of the Horseman they were great. We need more like this more often.

This was a great story the first time I read it, and it just keeps getting better now that I've read it again! Original, intelligent characters are a very special treat, and it was exciting to boot!

Once again we're treated to scenes of the early life of Qui-Gon Jinn, and in this author's capable hands, you can see the beginnings of the superior being that he turns out to be in "The Phantom Menace." The first person perspective is a bonus, too; it's handled very deftly here, since every scene has to be crafted keeping that idea firmly in mind.

Highly recommended.

Excellent very nice and orignal idea...first fanfic about a swoop gang I've come accross. Great read, loved the first person perspective. I have always liked to not predict the ending in a story and yours was REALLY unpredictable. Definatley work on another one that has such a personal touch (especially without too many core characters, very admirable)

This is one of the most original and enjoyable stories I've read so far. Crash and the others are living and vibrating characters, and the whole idea of writing a fic about Coruscant swoop gangs is just great, a very refreshing change from the usual Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan - go - on - a - mission - and - Obi - is - kidnapped / tortured / whatever routine. A good plot, superb characterization, humour, and a charming young Qui-Gon Jinn. I couldn't tear myself away from it.

absolutly phenomenal! I was totally rivited-could NOT put it down! I must admit, I had my suspicions about Masons' true idnentity from the very start, but I loved him! Crash was awesome. I think my favorite secondary charecters had to be the triplets! they were great!
The whole story gave me an awesome, and very new veiw of Courascant underworld that I had never even thought about.
Very well done!

OH MY GOD IT'S CRASH. This used to be on QGL.org! It was one of my favorites there, and I was so upset when that site got taken down, so imagine my surprise when I saw one of my old loves up here on TF.N! I intend to never lose this one again... thank you for writing it, I love it.
