This is a wonderfully brief perspective writing! You captured the dynamics of the duo, and their grief, exactly how I've alway imagined them. Well done!

A heart-warming story, to be sure. If I weren't already a devout (though invisible) reader of yours, I certaintly would be now!

What a fantastic story!!! I have to admit I began to get choked up reading it. Wonderful job. This was well written and included a lesson for all of us about moving on, facing our responsibilities and not letting down those that depend on us. Also, I think it added some color/foreshadow as to the love and skepticism between Obi-Wan and Anakin. Please write some more.

Nice little sentimental story. The prose is great. Very polished and attentive to detail. This bridges well into ATTACK OF THE CLONES (Anakin's frustration with Obi-Wan). I would have avoided the tears and hugs. Anakin's resentment (in the films) with Obi-Wan stems from his inability to express and sympathize (and Anakin's adolescent angst).

{sobs uncontrollably} that is so sad!!!!!!!!!!!! sniff great wrok on this! It captures emotion very well. Poor obi-wan. He should see a physcologist. Bottlin' up all that greif can't be healthy. Now i'd better call him before he locks himself in a closet and starts {makes drinking out of bottle motion} again.

This remains one of my favorites--I was surprised to discover I hadn't previously commented.
You so perfectly capture what I would expect of Obi-Wan in the months following Qui-Gon's death. Anakin's behavior, too, is pitch-perfect.
And though there are many great moments, this line in particular rung true for me: "As always, the call of duty was enough to rouse him." So very Obi-Wan.
