Rated it as an 8. Several little grammar/canon slips (MandalMotors versus Mandalorian Motors, etc.), but I also thought the characters of Jaina and Jag just weren't written true to how they were portrayed in ''Invincible.'' It seemed like a very OOC thing for both of them to just put the war on hold for their little "rendezvous." I liked the story until it got overly mushy IMO. I've enjoyed other works by this author, but not this one. Anyway, just my opinion, please don't flame. ;-)

I loved this story the first time I read it. I don't think it's OOC at all. Jaina is weary, talked out and resigned by the time she leaves Nickel One. Although the entire piece is written from Jag's POV, it's all about what Jaina needs. It's entirely in-character for Jag to be focused on that(food, medical attention, the occasional kick in the behind). In Rendezvous, she takes that a step further. I can see even Jaina taking an isolated moment out without compromising her mission. It's a hyperspace jump. I suppose they could have played Scrabble instead.

A gentle read that was enjoyable. Jaina Solo is one of my favorite characters to follow in the universe.

Was nice to see that she still has a little of that Corellian smirk of being stubborn that any Solo is credited for.

There was a moment when she seemed a little out of place falling somewhat weary of her normal protective shell she carries. But I give that moment as being an intricate part of who she truly is inside beneath the exterior of being a Jedi.

It was a pleasant experience to see the inner vulnerable part of Jaina she keeps secret.

I look forward to reading more from your imagination of Jaina.

Very enjoyable. I liked how it is in Jags point of view. I believe that both characters were as close to being in character as you could have gotten them. I can't wait to read more of your stories.

This was a beautiful read. With incredible detail and astounding story-telling that seemed to bring the characters thoughts into the dialogue. Brilliant, brilliant work.
