Sorry, I probably didn't explain that. TOH is a trilogy, which started with "Burden of Choice." This is "Dying of the Light" and the last part is called "When Morning Comes." So, yes, it is connected to BOC, but it is not Burden of Choice, but The Other Half.

Outstanding story!!!!! I'm totally hooked, and have been since reading "Burdens of Choice". After finishing Part 2, my patience is going to be sorely tested waiting for Part 3. I have no idea what will happen, and am afraid to think what might. Please keep writing!

One of the best stories I've ever read. Definitely the boldest 'What If?' story I've read.
I'm hooked, and can't wait for Part 3.
I also like the Yoda/Leia interaction.

DAMN GOOD!! We need the final part, NOW!! LoL I could be angry with you because this EPIC-type story, although an alt-universe, held my my attention for hours on end, while I was at work. Several times my supervisor caught me and questioned what I was doing. Of course being a JEDI MASTER with Legendary Lineage I used a mind trick on him and got out of work for a few hours more. Anyway, this fic rates among the elite. Try an not keep us in suspense for too much longer. <--JEDI SALUTE

I'm halfway through this installment, and though I like the story, you've MAJORLY contradicted yourself in it. Sometimes, Leia refers to having had a "peculiar friendship" with Vader as a child, and having known him before the factory on Laazum (or however you spell that). Other times, she says that she new nothing of him but stories and didn't meet him until she became a Senator. The first scenario is from Fernwithy's stories, isn't it? Been a while since I read those, but I can see this scenario being an outcome of those.

The other problem I have is in part one. The twins had to be hidden from Vader. Padme knew this. Sache and Bail knew this. Yet when Padme died, Sache sent Vader a trunk containing things like holos of her daughter and journals which talk about her children? Quoi? We can assume he never opened them, but if he had, the jig would have been up.

I DON'T BELIEVE IT it's even better than Part 1. I love the scenes with Yoda and Leia - you did them absolutely perfectly. I can't wait for Part 3!
