a lttle disapointed that the jedi treasure was taken away, but I do understand the explaination given. My only wish is that more fan fics of this quality will be written...

Yes! Mcily, it got put up! Congrats, and it's fabulous, as you know...the history was very well thought out. Creepy at parts, and beautiful at others. I love Luke's flashbacks, too. :-)

First of all, I loved this story! Bravo!!Secondly, in response to the comment above, FanFiction is *never* out of date.
We, as FanFic writers, are under no obligation to follow either the chronology or the events that take place in other forms of Star Wars literature. These stories are intended to be read and accepted as independent works of fiction.
On a more personal note, I think most of the fanfic here is far better than the vast majority of published SW literature. (Especially the travesty that is the NJO!) Because these stories are written by fans for the pure love of the series, not as a money-making endeavor.

A very wonderfully written story but I don't think that Anakin would have named his son Luke.
And I don't think Tahiri would have let him name their kid Luke either. To bad [SbS spoiler], we could have seen if Tahiri and Anakin got together and had a kid a long time after they kicked the Yuuzhan Vongs butts.

This story was good, but to far fetched for me. I believe that Anakin Skywalker IS the chosen one because he is after all, the one who killed Palpatine, ridding the universe of the Dark Side. Plus if you look at it from a different prespective, he brought balance to the Force by bringing Luke in the universe, so it was unnecessary that he be trained, so u could say the purge was for nothing.

This was a really great story and I thouroughly enjoyed it. However, there were a couple of minor problems. These are only my views and they relate to comments that have been made, as well as with your story. First of all, lay off the SbS stuff! The story is independant of all that, and how does anybody know what Anakin Solo would have named his kid? I think having the boy named Luke was a great tribute to the great Skywalker. Anyways, there were a couple of typos in the text, which is really no big deal. I enjoyed the flashbacks, but thought they were too in depth. I felt like half of the story was a re-write of the original movies. Other than that, it was really great. Thanks for sharing.

All I can say is w o w. I've discovered fan fiction today, originally looking up stuff about Mara Jade, and the outcome of my search became something I had hoped someone would write about as an alternate ending. Anakin is my favorite character and it was really nice to read this story. On an offnote, Anakin Skywalker was the Chosen One. Without him, we wouldn't have had the Star Wars world.

Overall this was a good story. The idea of Luke discovering the past was great, and the flashbacks were done well, but the writing could have been better in parts and a few elements seemed kind of cheesy (especially Lowie being Chief of State). From this and other stories of yours I can tell that you have some very creative ideas, and if you keep writing I'm sure you will produce some great stories in the future.

I was just wondering if you could tell me how many books of the NJO are there? Have you read them all
cause you seem to know alot about the NJO. Seems pretty cool. I've read fanfic's about it, but never
actually read any of the actual books.

Doesn't Anakin Solo die in one of them though? Can't remember how though.

On the fic; very good. I like how Luke S, was remembering things, how it helped him train his Padawan.
Very cool that they found that part of the temple and how they learned things, heard things.

And when Mara said Luke fell to the dark side once... was that it? No.. more soon!

I can't believe that the NJO don't know what gives them the force! Or about midi-chlorons.

The most amazing FanFic I have ever read. I think I might of shed some tears. What an amazing way to connect the past with the future, to fill the those gaps that the Prequels have created. Extremely convincing and not unbelievable as some FanFic authors have made it.

This was well written and handled the characters expertly.

It was a great story. I especially loved that you wrote a beautiful ending for Mace Windu, and that his death was not in vain.
I am also sorry that the Jedi artifactes were lost, though.
As to who the Chosen One is, I think this story does not state that Luke is, but instead lets us decide between Luke and Anakin.

That's wrong. The Chosen One is ANAKIN SKYWALKER!!! In ROTJ, HE was the one who destroyed the Sith by redeeming himself(destroying Darth Vader) and throwing Sidious into the reactor thingy, thus destroying the REST of the Sith and fullfilling the prophesy. LUKE DIDN'T do it. He didn't force Vader to redeem himself, Anakin made the choice HIMSELF to do it. He WAS influenced by Luke though. He just felt bad cuz he couldn't save Padme or his mom so he wanted to save his son. Did Luke kill Vader or Sidious? No. Anakin Skywalker did. So there.
