Great story. This is the first interpretation of the Angels of Iego that I believe I have come across. I thoroughly enjoyed this, short as it was. There really seems to be much more to this story than what is on the surface.

This was an enchanting story. I enjoyed speculating about who Grandfather Skywalker could possibly be, and I smiled at Vader journeying to Lego to find his wife. I especially loved this part:
"She was from the moons of Lego?"
"No, she was from a different place." He paused for a moment before continuing in a less menacing tone. "But she was an angel."
Good job, Viari! This was wonderful.

Such a sad but sweet story. I love short little character stories such as this, it's why I love fan fic's so much!

I don't read that much fan fic, because I'm very much of the mindset that the books are the Star Wars Bible, but yours, I have to say is one of the most well written I've come across. The plot was somewhat complex, yet simple enough to keep the reader interested. I truely enjoyed the way you wove the different eras of the SW universe togather. excellant

That comment about Vader honoring Padme's memory instead of mourning her is very subtle but speaks volumes about his character. Nothing against mourning in general, but I can see where Vader's wallowing in pain and self-pity becomes selfish and ultimately contributes to his being a slave of the dark side. I also really enjoyed how you framed what is well-known to us as a distant, ancient story. The kicker for me was bringing in the oral storytelling tradition to tell the story. Very, very, very well done! Bring us more!

Thanks to all for the lovely, lovely comments! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
My hope in writing this was to seamlessly weave some of the different eras of the Saga together in such a way that it would be simple and believable, yet it would still have some complexity. From what I've read in the EU, as the years go by, there is less and less mention of Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker, my all-time favorite character. I wanted to write a story where the Skywalker descendants have learned much more about their anscestors, as shown by Grandfather Skywalker's knowledge of Anakin, Padmé, "the twin children of the Chosen One", and even Ben Skywalker, his own grandfather. Really, I wanted to bring a small story of Anakin and Padmé's love - even in dark times - to a point where future inhabitants of a GFFA would see that Vader still had some good in him, just as Luke saw in ROTJ.
So I'm glad you liked it. Thanks again for all the feedback!
