I liked it. It sounds like it came right out of Han's mouth.

I think you really captured Han perfectly here. For some reason, this story has very much the feel of OT, too. ;) A wonderful (well, wonderfully written) bit of philosophy you have Han ponder on. ;)

Sweet little peice of ff. Han gets a little weired when he talks about Chewie, but otherwise surprisingly well-written!

Great, you really got Solo on this one, how he was before Leia got thrown into his life. This should be luaded as one of few fictions that truely gets Solo down to the letter.

I agree with Doogie (at least I think we're talking about the same thing)... I love how definitively this slams the door on ANH:SE's mutilation of the edginess of Han's unrefined character before he ended up getting "wrapped up in the politics" anyway. Very intentional, very cool.

My problem with Greedo shooting first is not anything to do with Han, it's just that I can't believe he would miss at that range. Especially with those big eyes.
That said, very nice! That's Han Solo to a T. (Actually, there's no T in Han Solo. So never mind.)

Great work.. I like the tone of this story. It's just what a cynical kinda guy Han Solo was before he met Luke and the gang.

Perfect Han Solo! And he does shoot first...no matter what the Special Edition says! ;0)

Very well done. You captured Han's philosophy perfectly. However, I think it would have been a tiny bit better if you had used a story or two from the Han Solo trilogy. But very nice work overall.
