I just wanted to say that as soon as I saw this here, a broad grin appeared on my face. :D

This is a great story, and I loved seeing it from the battle droid's POV. It was well written, and captured my attention instantly. :)

This is an interesting concept...definitely not what you usually see in most fics. Nice job. :)

very good and extremely creative. A few questions like how he was even possible of having thought still linger afterwards, but still very refreashing to read something orginal. But who cares about that, this was very good.

I remember reading this fic a long time ago, when it was posted at FanFic board of the Jedi Council message boards. I instantly loved it! Great concept for a fic! And very well written!

I'm surprised that the same dude who brought us those excellent Jedi Knight levels was a great writer as well. Nice description and flow. This is a story that should--and has--been told.

Very well written. The flashes of memory interspersed with commands were most interesting. In a way, it reminded me a bit of how Robo-cop was done, with memories of 'life' interspersed into the present.

In a strange coicidence, Elton John's "Circle of Life" came on the radio while I was reading this.

I enjoyed the twist at the end, where the droid remembers the last battle, and the impressions of the little girl; it was almost a divine salvation. Considering how much intelligence is given to the battle droids, at least the commander droids, it is not surprising that deeper feelings would crop up more than once, and the TF would have the need to erase the memory banks so often.

Excellent tale. Another great one for the Fanfic universe!

Certainly thought-provoking... a rather interesting premise, to be sure. Ah, what the hey, I'll dispense with the formal commentary! I liked it!!!

Enjoy this story I did. Fell it could have been better I do. We did not know the droid well enough to feel connected to him. Good the idea is however.

Great! Very original.

Just one nagging detail- how'd it get a G rating?

Hey man, good story, I liked how he wasnt all ruthless and I had always wondered if battle droids were strong, and that part with the Villager in Arul was very informative.

Make a sequel!

One about a destroyer droid!

Very good, touched something inside me.
I found it particularly interesting since I'm in the process of making a similar story involving a stormtrooper. Not bad, not bad at all.

Cheers.

Hmmm. Certainly an interesting concept. I thought the story was told well, though it could have used some work, and I noticed a few nit-picky things that I would have liked to see beta-readers pick up on.
Very good, though.
