Hey this got archived! Hehe, I enjoyed reading this again! These scenes are really creative, and the whole Baba charector made it seem almost like a fantasy. Congratulations!

Very cool! I love all these fan fictions extending the scenes of AOTC. It is great to see it from the Holy Man's point of view. I loved the bit about if the Force wants to sacrifice one of its herd, he can not stand in the way-- very moving spiritual moment.

Truly a powerful and enrapturing piece that perfectly captures the tragedy and passion that was Anakin/Padme. Not only was every character perfectly portrayed, but the addition of an excellently characterized third party only adds to the poignancy of the piece. Absolutely lovely detail, as well, that only adds to an overall wonderful story. I wish I could leave off on a note of critique, but I honestly can't think of anything in here that requires editing. ^_^ Thank you so much for sharing.

This made me cry when I read the part about the Force wanting to sacrifice one of it's herd. I just would like to say this was truelly a masterful work of art.

Absolutely beautiful work! Perfect balance! The speech, description.. it was all perfect! It wasn't just a typical Star Wars fantasy fanfic... this was breathtaking, enchanting, mesmerizing stuff. I loved it. Every bit of it. I could picture it all so clearly in my head, almost as if I were watching it on screen. 10 out of 10! Loved the cover art too, it was fantastic. I'm still in tears over the beauty of it all! Congratulations, you're a born author.

"Come here, child." She gave her hand to him at once and stood before him, staring up at him with trust in her eyes. "I have known you since you were eight and your grandmother lodged you while you schooled in Theed. I may be an old religious recluse, but I am not completely unaware of the affairs of my home world. I know the courage with which you have served Naboo." She started moving her head and he shushed her at once. "I know the tangible and personal sacrifices you have made for your people. There is only so far you can carry a burden without needing a shoulder to share it with. You were a woman in need of love. And this Jedi came and gave you his heart. This man whom you have admired and have been indebted to since he was a boy of nine. And yet, you fought against your feelings for him, denying them, making him and yourself utterly miserable in the process." He smiled slightly. "But for how long can one battle against one's heart? I do not believe any other woman could have fared as well as you against this temptation."

This is my favorite paragraph because it shows an essential part of Padme's character. And your Baba speaks a lot of wisdom with this line. I like how you were able to balance that part of him out with a sense of humor. I don't know if you intended it to be that way but I see a lot of parallels between Padme and Luke in this story. They blame themselves too much and don't give a lot of weight to their own desires.
