Great story. I really got a sense of the emotional turmoil Obi-Wan had to deal with after his Master's death. It was also nice to see that same commitment paralleled between two generations of the Skywalker family. Well done!

Too cool. I love philosophical/introspective pieces that really get into the character's head, and I enjoyed this one even more than most. Naturally, with both the type of story, and my favorite character.. How could I not?

^^

Really though, I love the idea, and what you did with it. Very cool.

I can't say enough nice things about this story. I nearly cried but my Jedi restraint wouldn't let me.

Wonderful story! I really enjoyed it. I could really sense Obi-Wan's grief and his will to do the right thing. I loved the end, how you showed the same thing going through his head when he began to instruct Luke. Really well written. I hope to read even more by you.

This was a great introspective piece. I felt that the Jedi would not approve of Obi-Wan mourning his Master and seeing his turmoil cemented this idea.

You linked the two sections of the story which was a great technique. The repetition was also effective. Overall a great job.

Not bad. I often felt that Old Ben discovering Luke unconscious would set of a torrent of his own memories. You could see it in his face when Luke asked about Anakin in Episode IV.

Poor Obi Wan: what sadness he must have endured...
You described beautifully what he must have felt.

Such a wonderful and genuine look at Obi-Wan's outlook and emotional state throughout. You really captured the essence of who Obi-Wan is with this story. Great job. :)
