I like that you tried something different - looking at the events of the Clone Wars not from the eyes of one of our heroes, but an ordinary citizen.

Great story! I, too, liked the perspective of someone who wasn't a hero or a villian. Well done!

A compelling piece of work! I love it when writers look at huge events with "ordinary" eyes! Amazing work!

Very impressive.
One of the better Clone fics I've read.
I really enjoyed your portrayal of Dekk, and how Tessa's thoughts and feelings abotu them changed so much.

Wow! Very good job, GAV! I like it how Dekk interacts with her, how they have a dynamic relationship between them.

Good job!

Excellent work of fan fiction! The line where she realizes that she's merely been projecting her own dreams into his eyes was terrific.

Keep writing, please! I especially loved that it was about ordinary citizens.

This was an excellent piece of work, I really appreciate how much it differed from what most people are used to. There was a certain degree of tragic irony throughout, and even though it was set in a fictional universe, it holds many great themes that apply to wars fought in our own world.

Beautifully, beautifully written. It's wonderful to see the Clone Wars through the eyes of an ordinary civilian, and we see so many different nuances of the situation through Tessa's eyes. The story is both well written and poignant, and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. :)

This is extremely well-written. I love how she describes Dekk and the Jedi; the war became just a little bit more real to me when you described the underlyng anxiety beneath Dekk's Jedi calm.I have never felt that an author chracterized a clone just right--most make them too human (remember, these people were not only bred for their jobs, they were surrounded by weaponry, instructed in warfare, etc. There was no way they could empathize with anyone who hadn't been in the war too.) These details prove that you have a deft hand as a writer.

I haven't felt moved to comment on a story in a long time. Thank you for showing me what talent and finesse can accomplish.

Interesting look on the Clone Wars, to be sure. Reminded me of a scene I wrote regarding Order 66, but I didn't use the civilian POV. I thought this was well-conceived and executed.
