The little name game had me laughing out loud. Senator Mot Not Rab was named in a similar fashion after a Lucasfilm worker's son.

I also liked the telepathic Jedi Council scene.

Superb! Really one of the best fan-fics I have ever read. A great alternative storyline and one which opened up a lot of different ideas.
I'd love a sequel. Will Anakin still turn dark? If not, what will happen with the empire?

I think i've read this somewhere before. Or rather I know that I have read it before and I just had the pleasure of re-reading it! :) I must tell you that I loved it. I like how you portray all the characters and it's a fun story to read! :) If you ever were to decide to make a sequel to this i'd definatly read it! :)

i read this story awhile ago and never commented on it-so i am now! this story is probably one of the, if not THE, best stories I have ever read--I really enjoy qui-gon-lives ones--the sequels are just as good!!! right now I am considering re-reading it because I loved it so much!!! It is now 1:32 AM and I have school tomorrow but I dont care! Excellent story, I cant wait to read the sequels but, maybe tomorrow... Anyway, I love the AU-but-still-fits-with-the-story thing. Everyone's character was greatly portrayed as well, Obi-Wan's uncomfortableness in taking a padawan reflets on how he actually probably wouldn't have, if not for Qui-Gon dying. Wonderfully Force-Inspired story!

Great fanfic, biggest what-if question of Ep 1 is "What if Qui-Gon survived?" and yet I've only seen two stories about that, this being by far the better of the two.

Very interesting idea, seems quite well-written.

However, I'm sorry but I just couldn't get through all of it because I got fed up with Anakin. You captured all of his annoyingness from the movies waaay too well. "I'll try spinning! That's a good trick!" "Yippee!" That kind of thing, you know? It just doesn't sound like a real person. And it's endlessly irritating. And I know he acts like that sometimes (ok, a lot) in the movies, but did you have to copy it so well?

absolutly wonderful! I love everything about it. Anakins' situation is very intreguiing, and I can't wait to read the two sequels! I immediatly fell in love with K-LE1, or 'Kaely' - I want a 'Kaely-droid'! :P

THIS IS THE BEST! This was the first thing I read on this website and it was by far the absolute BEST!!! You should write more sequels about how Ani ended up destroying the Sith(since he STILL is the Chosen One) I haven't figured out the name game yet though...

Throughly enjoyed it. A very possible AU and not one that many other people have done. I've seen plenty where Qoi Gon survives, but never one done where Ani doesn't become a padawan right off. A bit long for my tastes, I felt the chase scenes dragged on, but overall, a very well written story.
