Well done on managing to convey the sheer sense of age and desolation the narrator feels for the dead galaxy. Bravo. Sheer excellence.

Eloquently written, but I found the story to be too broad and vague. Your foundation is solid, but you fail to build upon it until the final paragraph, where the true story begins. It's like a long first chapter of a book, with an intriguing story yet to be told.
