I really enjoyed this. It showed that Jedi can be human-and Jedi-at the same time! It was predictable, but a good story line as well.

The stress and bewilderment on both sides really came through here. (I haven't read much JA, but I gather that rather marks most of the books.) I actually especially liked the interaction between Qui-Gon and Mace. It was most enjoyable when they were acting as friends, but the interplay between that and Mace's position of authority over Qui-Gon (with the mention of his being closer in age to Xanatos, at that!) was also well done.

That was nice of Obi-Wan. He must've felt awful when Qui-gon got all angry at him like that. You know what? I found out on Wikipedia that "Xanatos is an alternate spelling of Thanatos, the Greek personification of death." Creepy huh? ;)

Thanatos, xanatos. I knew it! I just knew he was named so cuz of the greek god f the dead! Anyway, this story's pretty cool. I would never have expected that to happen! you sure surprised me!But I'm still made at you for stbbing me to death. I will rise again.... Bleurgh!!!
