Wow - dark. I think you have captured the early Mara very well here, actually; we all know that she can be consumed by revenge, and this is a good exploration of that lust for vengeance in a very personal setting. Very nice indeed!

This is a beautiful fic. I like how you brought in both sides of the coin that is Mara Jade, her deadly past, and less deadly present. Revenge has always been one of her, well for lack of a better term, weaknesses. Its nice how you explored that and showed Luke as her complete opposite. This really is a nice turn of the Luke and Mara epic drama.
