This was a really imaginative and well-done story. I liked the added dimension it gave to the inner workings of a Sith. Watch those dangling participles! (His fingers were screaming like a Bantha on fire?) :-)

I often find fan fiction stilted and poorly written. This story reads (flows) well - it feels like Star Wars. A well written sith story...keep writing!

I'm fairly new to reading and writing Fanfic, but I totally loved this. Makes me wonder what'd happen if Darth Zeraii took on an apprentice. This is my 4th story to read, so I'm going to check out all your other stories tied to Darth Zeraii... Again, job well done. ;)

Wow, great ending!

I've got to say, you have to be one of the best fanfic writers (and maybe even writers!) that I've read when it comes to keeping the story moving.

I also really like the way you tweak the Star Wars mythos--with the Shadow Sith in the last story, and now with the Ar'krai, another great invention.

However, I do feel that there is one significant flaw in this story: to defeat his opponent, Zeraii must learn the [i]exact same lesson[/i] he had to learn to defeat the Sith apprentice in the last story (even if he goes on to learn a new lesson after his victory). Rather than grow as a character, he retreads old ground.

But overall, very well written and enjoyable! Keep up the good work!
