Gina,
This is a fabulous story. The language, the pacing are truly top-notch. I could feel the characters' emotions coming off the page. A great addition to the Archive.

You know how much I love this piece. It's moving and powerful, and truly represents the best that fan fiction (okay, writing in GENERAL!) has to offer. Your talent never fails to amaze me.

"I'm sorry to bother you, Chancellor, but...you said if I ever needed to talk..." Anakin allowed his voice to trail away, feeling confused and suddenly very embarrassed for coming here.
"Of course, my dear boy," Chancellor Palpatine assured him, reaching out to take his arm and leading him into the ornate office. "Come in. Please, Anakin, tell me what is troubling you."

That was a really good fanfic. It sort of helps to understand how Palpatine got Anakin to open up to him. Very eerie, very chilling. And the way you made Padme handle the grief and pain was amazing! Great one!

Gina, I just found your archived fics and I'm really enjoying them. This piece was wonderful, and heartbreaking, left the reader crying for both Padme and Anakin...and wondering if Anakin might have turned to the Dark Side even more quickly had Padme rejected him.
