I enjoyed a lot about this story -- the plot was tight and interesting, the scenario dovetailed nicely with TPM, and the pacing was dead on. Best of all, though, was the interaction between Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan, as Obi-Wan reaches adulthood and Qui-Gon isn't really ready to recognize it (and Obi-Wan isn't quite grown up enough to accept that).

The author already knows I love this story! She took an unpleasant subject -- the Colicoids -- and used them to craft readers a lesson in plot development and characterization. Altogether, a great job!

It took me a while to get to this story, but I knew that when I did I would be in for a treat. I was not disappointed. The tight plot and fast-pacing were compelling. And the bond between master and padawan was wonderfully portrayed.
Excellent story.

This was a very well written story, but aren't most Jedi bodies supposed to disappear? How could te Coloids eat them? The Chancellors fear of the droids also was also a bit overrated.

Bravo bravo! I give this fic two thumbs up... way up. The way this story flows is wounderful and the relationship between Padawan (obi-wan) and master (Qui-Gonn)is excellent. This was a real treat, I just got all caught up in the story because of it's excellent plot!
Great job! I'd have to say out of all the fanfics i've read on this site... this is #1!!!!!!!!

Hey girl, I remember this one! Fabulous character interaction, nice action and well-researched technical information. Always a pleasure to read.

Really great story I love how the action just flows and the parts about Obi-wan and Qui-Gon's relationship as master and apprentice

I like this story very much. There aren't very many people who can make me feel warmly toward Qui-Gon (when Obi-Wan is also in the story, of course), but you did a wonderful job of it.

I really like the OC's of Lyrik and indirectly of Sheleiha. I especially like the philosophy of the latter that in spite of the sorrow that comes, squeeze every ounce of love and laughter and beauty out of life. It's these people who survive the best, grow the most and learn the most and give the most to others. They're loved to pieces by those that know them and are missed to distraction when they are gone. In the Star Wars galaxy, characters like this are the ones we love the most as fans. I also like the whole droideka thing--very realistic as to what comes later.

This is a very cool story! The plot is very well aligned with the rest of the story. The added twist of why the Jedi both go to the system adds suspense to it. The part where the female Jedi says " maybe you were guided by a higher force to go" (or words to that efect) reminds me of how I feel sometimes...
