Very good.
But, the characters didn't seem "right". Jag Fel wasn't the grim fighter pilot from the novels, and the Chiss society seemed too loose and informal for what it has previously been described as. Other than the subject errors, it was great:)

I loved it! I think that it helps to explain how he transformed into the grim pilot in the NJO. Well... at least he is grim on the outside...

I've never been a fan of NJO or Jag. Still not. Though, ever since we've been friends, I've read it for the sake of the quality of your work. Such a nice read! Not to mention, charming title.

i'm not familiar w/ the jag character in the EU, but as a stand-alone character, pretty well done. the events following her death and his grief could have been done better though. liked the interaction between jag and his sister, esp his brotherly protection over her. good messages in the story.

Very well-written, Melyanna...I am impressed, as always, with your work. From what I've read I've always thought Jag was a little too gruff for me, but I like how this story provides the logic behind his facade. Keep up the good work.

it was really good. jag fels other siblings instead of lexi and kalin are wynssa and chak chak is older than jag and wynssa is younger.
