I like the way your title is very fitting and very apt for the story. Your descriptions serve the exact purpose of almost being able to bring tears to our eyes. The ending is appropriate, for those who cannot bring themselves to cry.

"Petals in Twilight" possesses a delicate inner beauty that is seldom to be found. Written in a very quiet, reflective tone, it is not only a story about grief and regret, but also one about hope.

Great job :)

WOW. Amazing, I came )( close to crying myself. Excellant way to bring Obi Wan's emotions out. Even to help others heal who deeply need it.

Just as wonderful the second time around LuvEwan. This story is beautifully written and conveys the depth of pain Obi-Wan feels at having lost his Jedi family. Your imagery is fantastic and the words are often poetic. Simply lovely.

And... Poor Garen, my throat tightens every time I go through this passage.

Oh....my.....gosh..... That was simply amazing. You wrote it wonderfully, in a almost lyrical method. You captured the perfect balance of deep emotional heart ache without sending it down into melodrama. It was heart breaking, and beautiful. It was both painful and beautiful at the same time. Great job. :)

This was so beautiful, sad and yet enchanting. I could feel Obi's pain and grief throughout the piece, and the end was a bittersweet little coda. Wonderful job! :)

Woo! The setting was lovely and tranquil. The whole setup with the candles was very vivid and moving. Obi-Wan's is so fabulously captured without being hokey. It's a perfect read! :)
