This is a lovely little vignette. Beautifully written, with good insights into Leia's mind that night. Thank you for sharing it with us.

This is a very enjoyable and sad piece--but it ended with hope, and I'm glad. I really liked Leia's musings on how she built her mother from fragments of what she heard about her. A very realistic portrayal. Thank you for this lovely vignette.

This is a well-written piece. I like the time you chose to place Leia--right after they arrive on Yavin IV, waiting for the Death Star to arrive, and for almost certain death. It was frought with emotion; I love that! I do question her memories of her father, though. I always thought Obi-Wan mutilated him in a duel before Anakin had a chance to be a father to her. In ROTJ, Leia recalls her mother, but not her father. Here, that seems to be reversed. Is there a reason for that?

When she said father, I think she was referring to Organa.

Well done. I love the emotion. You made Leia seem like a very real, very strong person.
