Mailing Lists
TheForce.Net Fan Fiction has put together a number of moderated mailing lists to assist our readers and writers. All people with a free registered account can participate in these mailing lists as long as they follow the rules. To join or leave any of these lists, change your mailing list options to have yourself subscribed to whichever mailing lists you want to be subscribed to. These mailing lists are:

TheForce.Net Fan Fiction's Discussion List is a moderated mailing list for the general discussion of fan fiction and the archive.
(betareaders@fanfic.theforce.net)
This is a moderated mailing list that is for people who are interested in beta-reading others' fan fiction. If one is looking for a beta, they can just e-mail the list and any beta-readers who are interested in doing a beta-reading for that person can contact them off-list. All beta-readers who are signed up here on the site are by default subscribed to this list, although they can manually un-subscribe themselves.
The beta reader mailing list is for requests only. DO NOT use it to distribute your story.

This is a moderated mailing list that for people who are interested in doing cover art or incidental illustrations for fan fiction that is archived here. If an accepted author is looking for an artist to do cover art for them, they can simply e-mail the list and any artists who are interested in doing it can contact them off-list. It works with the same idea as the beta-readers list, except it's with art.
This is a general list of the rules that one must follow when one participates in any of TheForce.Net Fan Fiction's mailing lists. These rules consist of (but are not restricted to) :
• No flaming.
• No cussing or swearing.
• No trolling.
• No HTML email or file attachments.
• No spamming! This includes promotion of your own fan sites.
• Please stay on-topic.
• Keep private or off-topic conversations off-list.
