I am an author who is looking to break into the field and have heard that this would be a good place to start. I am currently working on my own story to be submitted to Fanfic, but am interested in helping others to hone their skills as well.
I am excellent at spelling and proof-reading, therefore I feel I can be of great service.
I saw Star Wars when it was first released, and have been hooked ever since. Yes, I am a big Fett-head. (Yes, I was excited that his father is the material for the clone army.)

I am a massive fan of Jedi related stuff, except post-OT/NJO work. Anything prior/during PT & OT is fine.
Don't get me wrong, I do like the EU, but I am a bit of a purist. Don't go killing off any characters before their time!!! (Come back Chewie, all is forgiven!!)
I have not read all the NJO books as yet so I don't really want to read stuff about characters that I don't know.
Not too fond of the mushy stuff either, so avoid Anakin and Padme fawning over each other a lot in your stories. Not saying I won't have a go at reading it, but romance always seems to be heavy going.
Spoiler work never ruins my viewing of a new film.

I am 27 years old and have been a Star Wars fanatic (Some would say geek, and to be honest I agree with them) ever since I had to leave the cinema because Jabba scared me too much in Return of the Jedi when I was 5!!
I'm also into martial arts, so if any one wants to incorporate that into a story, great!!

I mostly prefer Imperial stories set after Ep3 and before the NJO. But if you have a Prequel story involving a character that later joins the Empire, such as Grand Admiral Thrawn for ex., I'll beta-read it.
The plot has to be interesting, nothing too simple.
I especially love Alternate Universe stories! If its a good plot, I don't care if Luke Skywalker is the star then.
Limits :
Don't know much about far future or ancient past, though not a definite limit. As long as context is set. Minor characters usually bore me unless presented in an extremely interesting way. I did like the Bounty Hunters novel. Anything really offensive which doesn't really belong on this site anyway.

interested in Jedi philosophy as well; Luke, Leia, Obi-Wan stories okay.

I will mainly do only New Jedi Order stories, but I can make exceptions. I don't like drama stories, only action and adventure (There is always room for exceptions, though.) Only Word docs. please. Anything graphic, be it violence or sex, is perfectly fine.

I am a 28 year old Police Officer. I have enjoyed the Star Wars films my entire life and am an avid collector of the action figures. I also read as many of the books as I can and am looking forward to reading other peoples stories as I have written a few myself. The grittier and darker the better. And that's about all.
