Update August 27/2001:

Two stories of the dark days of the Empire's rise join the archive this week. Echoes of the Future by Jairen is a sweeping story of the purge, in which Jedi Master Kieran Dreen faces difficult choices as he tries to save the Order and his family. cereth takes a more personal look at the purge, through the angry eyes of the man who was once Anakin Skywalker in I Am Vader. Valeda Kor offers her review of Sir Gerry's battle-droid story, The Circle of Life.

Update August 20/2001:

Obi-Wan tests Anakin's trust in Autopilot, by FernWithy, and the power of the Force is discovered in another child -- a child named Mara Jade -- in Ladybug's For One So Small. The Last Hope is a vignette from Yoda's point of view by Valeda Kor.

Update August 13/2001:

Julie adds If I Don't Catch You, an alternate universe story that looks at a different destiny for Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Anakin Skywalker, while Lilith Demodae introduces us to the swoop gang member Crash, as she learns secrets of Coruscant in Crash Course. Quiller follows up Hidden Agendas with Whispers of Betrayal, a dark story of Anakin's vengeance.

Valeda Kor has reviewed two more stories. Ten Years Later, Anakin and Amidala Find Each Other Again looks at Angel of Iego's Cloudy Symbols of High Romance and A Pleasant Little Tale... reflects on A Single Night, by LadyFett.

Update August 6/2001:

Three new stories join the TFN archive this week. Mission from Hell by Dant Solo tells the story of a mission before The Empire Strikes Back, during which Han and Leia must deal not only with the Empire, but with their feelings for one another.

What if Luke and Leia had been captured by the Empire and tried for war crimes? In Burden of Choice, Darth Ishtar looks at the consequences of rebellion.

Herman Snerd follows the widowed Mara Jade, as she discovers her own heroism and love in Moving On.

Valeda Kor adds two new reviews to the archive, A Delightful Young Qui-Gon Story... (for Defy Not by Quiller) and Encounter is an Apt Description (for Banquet Encounter by Sreya).

Update August 1/2001:

Added an article and a review (of Avalon's Cast My Soul to the Sea) by Valeda Kor.
