Everyone has to make hard choices at some point in their lifetimes, but Padmé has to make perhaps one the most difficult decisions. This is just a small introspection 'fic that deals with her emotions as she spends her last day on Naboo.
Set a few years before "The Phantom Menace" --
While on a solo training mission, Obi-Wan is captured and
imprisoned by mysterious aliens. Unable to use the Force,
he must rely on his wits and training to escape.
Set immediately after Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan is exiled on Tatooine, trying to contact the ghost of his dead Master. But Qui-Gon's revelations will change everything Obi-Wan knows - or thinks he knows - about the Jedi order, and will shed light on that one burning question: Why?

After Anakin’s fall to the dark side and all of the other events of Episode III, Obi-Wan sits alone in his hut on Tatooine, watching the two suns set into the horizon. He is reflecting on everything that has happened. And tries to come to grips with his new life.
